Travel Vaccinations
It is important that you complete the Travel Questionnaire form at least 12 weeks before you travel. The form will be reviewed by our Practice Nurse who will determine which vaccinations you require for your trip. The Practice Nurse will then contact you to arrange an appointment for you to receive the vaccination/s. If there is no answer by telephone, a text message or voicemail will be left.
Some of the vaccinations that you require may have to be ordered as they are not a stock vaccine. Your initial appointment with the Practice Nurse needs to be at least six weeks before you travel to allow the vaccines to work and to also provide enough time to allow for a second dose if this is required.

Some travel vaccines are ordered on a private prescription and these incur a charge over and above the normal prescription charge. This is because not all travel vaccinations are included in the services provided by the NHS.
